In the Pacific northwest, there are so many varieties of wild mushrooms to be found. Everything from A-Y (goodness! I was unable to come up with a mushroom with the first letter: Z). Apricot jelly mushrooms, to Yellow-gilled russula with so many in between.
Yes, these two mentioned above are edible, however, there are some shrooms that are best enjoyed visually.
Shroom is an alabaster sculpture, pin and sleeve mounted on a wood base which has some of the natural edge remaining. Part of the stone has been left in its natural state. It is about 6 1/2 inches tall including the wood base.
