Words Spoken Softly, are at times, the very same words that are shouted from the mountain tops.
When the words are shouted, they may return with an echo ... and this brings a wonderful smile. When these words are spoken softly, and they are returned by the other person, they are cherished and warm the heart.
This small pyrophyllite sculpture, has been hand sculpted, is pin and sleeve mounted on a black marble base, and is about 10 in height. The 10 inches in height includes the marble base. The base has some small areas of lighter color.
Pyrophyllite stone is a joy with which to work. The beauty of the stone becomes even more prominent with each step of progress. I attempt to listen to the stone to see what lies within.
This sculpture was adopted to a loving new home from the Matzke Fine Art Gallery and Sculpture Park on Camano Island, WA.
