OK, So I’m thinking owls are known to say: “who”, however, there is also: what, where, when and why. It seems some little ones are also known to say: “Why, Mommy?”
This little sculpture, including the wood base, is about 7 inches tall of a stone which was gifted to me. I do not know what kind of stone it is, however, since it is soft, I suspect it is a form of soapstone. The stone is soft, scratches easily, and should be handled with care. It is pin and sleeve mounted. Parts of the stone have remained in the un-worked state. This little sculpture was hand tool carved.
