Art is wonderful. An enjoyable moment happens when a piece communicates, telling me its name.
Serenity is one of a series of small sculptures made from Carrera marble, pin and sleeve mounted on a small piece of oak. It is about 51/2 inches tall including the base.
In this series, I am attempting to create a directional motion, either leaning or moving forward. Serenity is leaning in a peaceful pose. I am honored that "Serenity" and "The Spirit of Marin" have gone to new homes.
